The Power of Aftercare
Proper aftercare is crucial for achieving the best results after any permanent makeup procedure. It not only aids in the healing process but also significantly influences the longevity of the treatment. By following the recommended aftercare instructions diligently, clients can ensure that their newly enhanced features remain fresh and vibrant for an extended period.
During the aftercare period, it is imperative to protect the treated area from excessive moisture, sun exposure, and other potential irritants. By doing so, clients can prevent complications and promote optimal healing, allowing the pigment to settle correctly within the skin for enhanced color retention.
Moreover, following a strict aftercare routine demonstrates a commitment to the investment made in permanent makeup. Just like any cosmetic procedure, the value of the results is directly linked to how well the client cares for their skin post-treatment. Emphasizing the importance of aftercare not only enhances the outcome of the procedure but also empowers clients to take an active role in maintaining the beauty and longevity of their permanent makeup.
Remember, the power of aftercare lies in the discipline and dedication of the individual. By prioritizing aftercare practices, clients can enjoy the full benefits of their permanent makeup treatment and showcase their flawless results confidently.

SWELLING:
A slight amount of swelling is typical for a fresh tattoo. If swelling becomes excessive, uncomfortable and you feel the pain radiating beyond the site of the tattoo, then this is a sign of infection

Fever is a symptom of an underlying condition, which is most often an infection. Please contact a medical provider if you think you may have a possible infection.
Stretch Mark & Scar Camouflage
The skin takes 6-8 weeks to heal and 12-18 weeks for darker skin tones. It is important to remember all skin is different so there is no exact time frame.
During healing:
The skin will scab, flake, peel and appear dark, and itch; this is crusting... DO NOT PICK at the treated area, ice the area and apply aquaphor
Keep the area clean but DO NOT wash with mild soap and water for 4 days
Do not wash vigorously when washing for at least 10 days
Mild swelling and redness may appear for 2-3 days, this is normal. Apply the ice pack supplied for 10 minutes multiple times a day
DO NOT rub or traumatize the area while healing as pigment may be removed from skin during crusting
Avoid contact with animals, gardening, sun, sauna, ocean and steam room for at least 10 days
Avoid swimming in hot tubs and pools for 30 days
DO NOT USE products containing AHA's (ex: glycolic, lactic acids)
DO NOT apply makeup or use makeup remover for 3-5 days
DO NOT touch treated area with fingers as your nails contain bacteria that may lead to infection
use a clean cotton swab to apply ointment 3x a day for 10 days.
